Spoken Word Poetry: Nasty Woman

I had to make a very difficult decision not to attend yesterday’s Women’s March in Washington, DC or the local march here in Philadelphia because of both medical and mental health issues that I am having.  I am trying not to dwell in guilt as I truly believe that good self-care is paramount as this is a marathon we are facing, not a sprint.  I have loved looking at people’s march pictures, hearing stories and vicariously experiencing the energy of this unprecedented global movement.  One of the most stunning things I have seen from the march is Ashley Judd’s spoken word version of Nina Donovan’s poem Nasty Girl.
