The Charges Leveled

They charged me with my sins real and imagined

Sentenced me to a lifetime

of solitary confinement in memory

Handed me the knife of remorse

wickedly sharp

mirrored surface reflecting my innocence lost

on an endless loop

And then told me not to bleed

on their clean floor

      1. As I do yours. You and another blogger I stumbled across with similar words and tagged subjects. I get it.

Will you please read my poem Avoidance no more. It has elements of the same fears in a different setting. If you have time and do read it try to let me know what you think? All good if you don’t. X

But! Down here we spell it Honour hahahhaa
        Booody British English! 😝
