I must admit that I generally am not a big fan of poetry that rhymes. It can feel overworked and contrived. I think though, that Anugrah Mishra has some raw talent, a lot a swag, and rhymes like a rapper. I’ll be interested to see how he evolves.

This does feel like a rap song. I quite like it.

Well,I had written it as a poem,I don’t know why people call it rap…..

I think of rap as a type of poetry, like haiku, or tanka, or a sonnet. Modern, electric, full of energy and movement and swag. It was not intended as a criticism.

As long as it is your authentic voice, I don’t know that it matters what other people call it.
