Tongue-tied

22a3c19ae9d1660bd93daff71f405934

words dangled perilously on my tongue

letter edges dug deep into tender pink flesh

refused to leave the warm refuge

of lavender honey breath

whispered secrets to my ears alone

of the power of silver silence

rippling out across the indigo night
