Monstress – GEORGIANN CARLSON

do come closer
don’t be afraid
you’re a big strong man
after all
there is nothing to fear
I won’t harm you
I’m not the one
you have to worry about
I can see into your heart
and it’s a dark and bitter place
there is little light
no spark at all
you’re already dying
and there’s nothing
you can do about it
the things you have done
sealed your fate
you’re the walking dead
and even in death
those you harmed
will be able to find you
there’s nowhere to hideno where at all

I’m an artist, a writer, a vegetarian, an animal rights activist, and quite a few other things as well. I love books, cats, philosophy, good conversation, Chicago and the arts. So my blog is full of bits and pieces but it’s the bits and pieces that make life interesting to me. You can read more of my writing at Rethinking Life

  1. No where to hide…. It’s always the same. They think they can hide, will hide, plan to hide, but when they get there; it’s just one big open space. Anyone can come and go, but the ones with dark and bitter hearts may only stay.
