she saw him sitting in the middle of the street

and invited him to follow her home

he was polite

and easy to love

so was she

they got along famously

he had a wry sense of humor

and made her laugh

they went for long walks together

she felt safe with him by her side

since he killed all the vampires

who kept trying to attack her

whenever she left the house
