perhaps the world ends here
with us
beings without the courage
to bring about the changes
needed to stop the destruction
perhaps the world ends here
with the decisions of a few men
we have allowed to become powerful enough
to destroy life itself
perhaps the world ends here
not by fire
not by comets
or the merging of galaxies
but by the gigantic egos
of greedy men
and a people
who remains silent

I’m an artist, a writer, a vegetarian, an animal rights activist, and quite a few other things as well. I love books, cats, philosophy, good conversation, Chicago and the arts. So my blog is full of bits and pieces but it’s the bits and pieces that make life interesting to me. You can read more of my writing at Rethinking Life
