TODAY A WOMAN WENT MAD IN THE SUPERMARKET – Georgiann Carlson

She was walking down the aisle
that had bags of marshmallows
chocolate syrup
nuts and other various toppings
on the shelves
when a man passing by
looked her up and down
and said
you certainly don’t need to eat any of that
well
as you can imagine
she started throwing things at him
jars of sticky butterscotch
and hot fudge
the extra large size bottles of syrup
pretty much anything she could grab
he was yelling and screaming at her
and women were coming from all over the store
blocking the ends of the lane
so no one could help the fat
ugly guy who had insulted
the woman
eventually he fell to the floor
and everyone started cheering
and dancing with each other
eventually
when things calmed down
the women all went about their business
leaving the fat ugly man on the floor
covered in goo
they all snickered
when they heard someone say
CLEAN UP IN AISLE FIVE
over the intercom
