grief
the connective tissue
webbed between
each bone
dangles unresolved
from bleached ribs
marbled shreds of tissue
ruffling the edges
of my open chest
cavity
simultaneously
both
obscene and
achingly lovely
rage
the iron in
the blood
that travels
twisty veins and
arteries
in an endless
roller coaster loop
sometimes gentle
but often fierce
crashing
roaring
in ears drums
that rupture
bleed
composition of
a woman

Thank you so much Bob for faithfully reading everything I put up, no matter how infrequently I do so.
