Secret Lives of Girls

Memories of summer nights

sky midnight silk

studded with diamonds

my heart beating fast

with you sitting next to me

on a scratchy plaid blanket

you all Love’s Baby Soft skin

and strawberry pink lip gloss mouth

small hands entwined with mine

warm minty breath

our secrets held close

like your curves to mine

turning us molten

kisses full of longing

and wonder

witnessed only

by the jealous moon

and the fireflies that danced over our heads

    1. I think it would be frowned upon if I was still out there kissing 16 year old girls! Being married to a man doesn’t make me straight-just monogamous. Being a 51 year old pansexual in a long term relationship with a man often makes me invisible. I like to remind everybody every once in a while that they shouldn’t make assumptions.

      1. Hell yeah! I didn’t mean kissing young girls, but I did mean feeling young and intoxicated when we kiss women and/or men. I totally understand that ‘invisible’ feeling- doesn’t it come like a cloak woven from silver hairs & wrinkles? I don’t think it’s got much to do with whether you’re straight/bi/pan/Queer etc etc. I’m glad you’re reminding us all of your depths & history/herstory, thank you for sharing 🌈❤ G
